We are presently seeking experienced independent contractors for Commercial Real Estate Analysis for ?Waterstone?s Advisory Services Group.? The focus area of this group is the Valuations, Underwriting and Due Diligence of commercial real estate loans and assets.? Project participation typically entails providing analysis of both performing and non-performing assets at the property, loan and market level.? Analysis of all major commercial property types, including Office, Retail, Industrial, Multifamily, Manufactured Housing, Hospitality and Self Storage properties in a variety of markets.? Candidates will work as Independent Contractors.?

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modeling and analyzing ?cash flows to determine metrics including DSCR, Debt Yield and LTV through any position in the capital stack
• Review of select legal documents such as promissory notes, loan agreements and participation agreements
• Review of third party documents such as appraisals and engineering reports
• Review and preparation of deal documents such as credit pitches and asset summary reports
• Assess credit worthiness and capabilities of sponsors, borrowers and tenants
• Perform site and market inspections

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ideal candidates will have experience with commercial real estate and finance.? CRE Contractors will need to be well rounded, possessing strong analytical, modeling, communication, and presentation skills.? Successful candidates also must possess strong Excel skills, time management capabilities and the ability to multi-task.?

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree or higher in a business related field, preferably finance or real estate
• 5+ years of experience ?in the commercial real estate industry, preferably performing underwriting and due diligence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in ?file sharing/database management
• Previous exposure to ?industry analytics software (Bloomberg, Trepp, CoStar, Argus) a plus
• Ability to analyze and present findings in an efficient and timely manner with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Some travel required ?on a project by project basis.
