cleaning services Melbourne, keyboard - How to Clean A Keyboard

Our keyboards are a huge magnet for germs and bacteria and for the sake of our health we should try and keep our keyboards as clean as possible. Just think how many times you laid your hands on your keyboard after eating something. Not only that the keyboard gets greasy and grimy but also when a keyboard is greasy it attracts more germs than usual. Cleaning a keyboard is not so hard, but as with any electrical device caution is advised.

First of all make sure you have all the needed cleaning tools to your disposal. The items you will need are easy to find -- a pair of clean cloths, some wet disinfectant wipes, a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment and it would be really nice if you have a can of compressed air, so to blow off the debris hiding beneath the keys.

Start the process by holding the keyboard upside down and shaking it hard, so any excess dirt can fall out. When you are done with that, use the can of compressed air and remove the rest of bread crumbs or whatever dirt is hiding there. If you didn't manage to find a can of compressed air, you may use your trusty vacuum cleaner.

Attach the brush attachment and thoroughly vacuum the keyboard. Apply a little bit of pressure so the bristles of the brush can get in touch with all the dirt hiding beneath. The vacuum cleaner is a great tool for removing dirt from a keyboard.

After you are done with the vacuum it's time to remove the grease from the keys. This can be done easily with the help of a wet disinfectant wipe or with a softly dampened in water piece of cloth. Apply the wet cloth easy on the surface of the keys and make sure to clean everything you see. Of course applying a little bit of pressure is required so you can clean everything correctly. Just make sure not to over-damp the cloth, because if water leaks in the keyboard it may damage it or cause a short circuit.

It is very important to clean the keyboards we use, because all the germs from the keyboard get stuck on our fingers, and the bacteria ends up on our skin.Cleaning services in Melbourne strongly recommend that you make sure your keyboard is disinfected every once in a while due to health issues.
